The Daily Fav Day 6: My Big Budha Bow Flats!

I have been on a flats kick lately. When it’s not summer and I can’t sanely wear sandals, you will catch me in flats more often than not. I go through a lot of different shoe kicks. It was converse for a while, it’s been flip-flops, it’s been boots (which I still love), and the list goes on. Right now I love me some flats, but I’m very picky!

Nothing bugs me more than when a pair of flats is totally adorable when you look at it on the shelf, and then you pick them up and see some detail that renders them completely unwearable, like studs. Ugh. My apologies if you like studs, but they are not my thing and it bugs the crap out of me that shoemakers seem to be putting them on everything lately.

Anyway, as you may have guessed, these are my favorite shoes right now. You can tell that I have worn the crap out of them because you can see toe indentations and fraying, which are signs of a shoe well-loved. AND THEY HAVE A BIG BOW ON THEM. I’m not usually a fan of the tiny little cutesy bows that in my opinion belong on teenagers only, but big, dramatic, classy bows? Get. Them. On. Me. Now.

On a serious note, I tried to find these online to order a new pair for when these finally bite the dust (BTW I know you want to, so I’ll warn you now: Don’t smell these! They are like Toms on crack in the scent department.). I couldn’t find them anymore :(. Anyone have any advice for repairing canvas shoes? I’m a little heartbroken actually at the thought of not being able to wear these like 3 or 4 times a week. A healthy amount, you know?

Day 6 woo hoo! What are some of your favorite things right now?

Leave me some love!
