Is it a little sad that this is admittedly one of my favorite activities?
Ok let’s back up. I don’t like channel flipping, most regular talk/celebrity shows, or reality shows. (Except Duck Dynasty-my guilty pleasure) I enjoy TV like a lot of people enjoy movies. I get really caught up in the story-lines and the characters and all of the writing and camera stuff. I take the shotgun appraoch at the begining of every premier season and watch all the shows that look interesting and weed them out from there. I also keep a careful watch on cancelations so I don’t get too wrapped up in a show just for it to get cancelled.
As you’d probably expect, I am just as organized about my little obsession as I am for anything else. I have multiple apps that keep all of my shows in order and I’m careful to rotate my shows to make sure everything gets watched.
Now that I’m typing this, I’m realizing again how ridiculous it is. Will that stop me? Uh, no. I am invested and in this relationship for the long haul. If you want to talk about a show, please let’s! I love discussing a good show and story-line. In fact, Bryan says I should start a TV Discussion podcast. What do you think?
Favorite shows right now: Grimm, Psych, Modern Family, The Blacklist, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, Mindy Project. I’m sure I’m forgetting someone, much like an award show, and will regret it later.
Ok this is sad. But I love it. But it’s sad. Ok Bye.
