Ok so on a side note, I’m feeling very Oprah-esque with this whole favorite things list. Like I should be shouting “You get a car! And you get a car! And YOU get a car!” Unfortunately, many of my favorite things are either intangible or not for sale anymore. But, if you want a Coke, I’ll most certainly buy you one next time I see you.
Which beings me to my next point: COKE!
“It’s so terrible for you!” blah blah blah. “Have you seen what it does to car batteries?!” blah blah blah. “High fructose corn syrup is the devil!” blah. blah. BLAH!
I know the dangers and risks, and trust me, normally I would be riding shotgun on that train with you. I have been trying to cut out processed crap little by little until it is out of our house forever for a few months now. For some reason though, I have allowed this sweet syrupy goodness to slip through the cracks. I seriously love it. It’s so good.
It’s really the only dark soda I like and only one of 2 sodas I like period. (Gotta have that Sprite for mixers and tummy-aches.) I take it straight, no chasers. No cherry. No vanilla. No diet. No zero. (Belgh!). And don’t even get me started on Coke vs. Pepsi: “I’ll take a Coke.” “Is Pepsi ok?” “No. Water is fine.”
Bryan and I are not drinking anything but water and coffee for the month of February and so I have been without my beloved Coke for 13 DAYS NOW. I had to drink water with my movie popcorn the other day :(. It’s a hard life, I know.
So yeah, Coke. It’s pretty awesome.
